Abstract : Objective To explore the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin)combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor (rh-bFGF) gel in the treatment of patients with deep second-degree burns. Methods 60 patients with deep II degree burns admitted to this hospital from January to November 2022 were selected and divided into observation groups and control groups using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin), and the observation group was additionally treated with rh-bFGF gel. The clinical efficacy, symptom disappearance time, wound healing time, dressing change pain, inflammatory factors, complication rate and quality of life were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The total effective rate of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group, the degree of moderate and severe pain was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the time for swelling, erythema, exudation , and blisters to disappear was significantly lower than that for the control group. Time, pain disappearance time, and wound healing time were all significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P0.05); the levels of procalcitonin and C-reactive protein in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group. In the burn health scale, the basic living ability dimension, hand function dimension, emotional dimension, interpersonal relationship dimension, sexual life dimension, body heat dimension, heat sensitivity dimension, cooperation with treatment dimension, and work dimension scores were all significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were all There is statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion TAO combined with rh-bFGF gel has significant efficacy in the treatment of patients with deep second-degree burns. It can accelerate the disappearance of symptoms and wound healing, reduce the pain of dressing change and inflammatory reaction, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve the quality of life of patients.
