Abstract:Objective:To observe and analyze the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of bacterial skin disease in children. Methods:100 cases of children with bacterial skin disease diagnosed and treated in outpatient clinic of the First People's Hospital of Foshan City from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected and divided into observation group (50 cases, applying the treatment method of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment)) and control group (50 cases, applying the treatment method of mupirocin ointment) in accordance with different treatment methods. The clinical efficacy and the scores of itching and pain before and after treatment were analyzed statistically. Results: The total clinical efficacy rate of the children in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the itching and pain scores of the children in the two groups were not statistically significant before the treatment (P>0.05), and the itching and pain scores of the children in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of children's bacterial skin diseases is remarkable.
