Abstract :Objective:To observe the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) applied to wounds after CO2 laser nevus removal.Methods:A total of 111 patients who underwent CO2 laser treatment of pigmented nevus in our department were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group applied Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) twice a day;the control group applied erythromycin eye ointment twice a day,the course of treatment was 1 week,and the patients were followed up for 3 months.Results:The incidence of postoperative pain and wound infection in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);the incidence of postoperative scar and pigment residue in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) after CO2 laser nevus removal is effective and safe.
