Abstract :Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with high-energy narrow-spectrum red light instrument (640nm) in the treatment of skin ulcers. Methods The treatment group included 36 cases, who were irradiated with high-energy narrow-spectrum red light instrument and then applied Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment), once a day, 20 minutes each time, for a course of 2 weeks. The control group included 36 cases, who were irradiated with red light instrument and then applied povidone-iodine solution wet compress. The irradiation method and course of treatment were the same as those of the treatment group. Results The effective rate of the treatment group was 86.11%, and that of the control group was 61.11%. The difference in effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with high-energy narrow-spectrum red light instrument has a good effect in the treatment of skin ulcers.
