Abstract:In order to compare the application efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) and compound keratanate cream in the treatment of anal fissure, 82 patients with anal fissure admitted to the Department of Anorectology of Urumqi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, from January 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 41 cases in each group. On the basis of external washing with Sanhuang lotion, the treatment group was given Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) for external application, and the control group was given compound keratanate cream for external application, and the total course of treatment was 14 d. Clinical efficacy was observed, and the anal pain scores and blood in stool scores of the patients in the two groups were compared. The results showed that the total effective rate was 87.8% (36/41) and 78.0% (32/41) in the treatment group and control group respectively, and the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05); the anal pain and blood in stool scores of the two groups were better than those of the control group at 7 and 14 d after treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the treatment. The results showed that the treatment of anal fissure with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) could significantly relieve the symptoms of anal pain and blood in stool, and had better clinical efficacy.
