Abstract :Objective To analyze the effect of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) on perianal abscess after surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients with perianal abscess after surgery admitted to our hospital from 2014 to 2015 were selected as research data and randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group, with 50 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution for sitting bath after defecation in the morning starting from the second day after surgery, and combined with antibiotics for anti-infection treatment. Patients in the observation group were given Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) on the basis of the treatment method of the control group, applied to the perianal wound surface, 2-4 times a day, one course of treatment was five days, and patients were treated for 3 courses in succession. The efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98%, and the total effective rate of the control group was 80% (P<0.05). No complications occurred in the observation group, and one patient in the control group developed anal stenosis. The wound healing time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in patients with perianal abscess surgery has achieved good clinical effect and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
