Abstract:Objective:To provide a basis for the clinical application of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) by observing the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) and 2% mupirocin ointment in the treatment of impetigo. Methods: 146 patients with impetigo were divided into two groups: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) (Vono) group and mupirocin ointment (Bactroban) group. In both groups, the drug was applied directly to the surface of the lesions twice/d. The patients were followed up on the 3rd and 7th days, and the efficacy of the drug was evaluated and the adverse effects were recorded. Results: The clinical efficacy rate of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of impetigo was 96%, and the difference was statistically significant compared with that of mupirocin ointment (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of impetigo was remarkable, and there was no obvious adverse reaction.
