Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of postoperative wounds of hemorrhoid surgery. Methods Sixty patients after hemorrhoid surgery were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The wounds of the treatment group were treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with lithospermum oil gauze dressing, while the control group was simply given lithospermum oil gauze dressing. The wound pain, wound edema and wound healing time were compared between the two groups. Results The wound pain relief in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group (<0.01). The wound edema scores after surgery in the treatment group and the control group were (1.10±1.06) and (1.73±1.14) points, respectively (P<0.05); the average wound healing time was ( 25.13±2.15) and (26.97±3.23) points, respectively (P<;0.05). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) can significantly reduce the pain and edema of postoperative wounds of hemorrhoid surgery and accelerate wound healing.
