Objective: To explore and observe the clinical efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with compound flumetasone ointment in the treatment of eczema and contact dermatitis. Methods: 210 patients who were diagnosed with eczema and contact dermatitis in our hospital from May 2010 to November 2010 were selected and randomly divided into a combined treatment group and a simple treatment group. The combined treatment group received compound polymyxin. B ointment was combined with compound flumetasone ointment, and the simple treatment group was treated with compound flumetasone ointment. Results: The effective rates of treatment for eczema and contact dermatitis were: 82.28% and 83.33% in the combined treatment group, with no ineffective patients; the effective rates in the simple treatment group were only 54.72% and 60%, with 3 cases of eczema and 1 case of eczema In patients with contact dermatitis, treatment was ineffective, and the effective rate of treatment in the combined treatment group was significantly higher than that in the simple treatment group (P<0.05); the clinical efficacy turning time in the combined treatment group was significantly shorter than that in the simple treatment group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with compound flumetasone ointment can significantly shorten the clinical treatment time in the treatment of eczema and contact dermatitis, and the clinical efficacy is better than that of compound flumetasone ointment alone.
