Abstract: Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of bacterial skin diseases. Methods: A total of 94 patients with bacterial skin diseases admitted to our hospital from November 2013 to November 2014 were selected as the research subjects and divided into an observation group and a control group by digital grouping method, with 47 patients in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with ciprofloxacin hydrochloride ointment;
The patients in the observation group were treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment), and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: After different treatment methods, the total effective rate of the observation group was 95.7% (45/47); the total effective rate of the control group was 91.5% (43/47), and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P >0.
05). Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with bacterial skin diseases, the effect of using Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) is equivalent to that of ciprofloxacin ointment, with a better bacterial clearance rate, and it is worth promoting in clinical practice.
