Abstract :Objective To observe the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with semiconductor laser in the treatment of chronic leg ulcer. Methods 32 cases in the treatment group were treated with semiconductor laser and then applied with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) twice a day; 30 cases in the control group were treated with semiconductor laser alone twice a day; the course of treatment for both groups was 6 weeks. Results The effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 84.38% and 56.67%, respectively, and the difference in effective rates between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with semiconductor laser has a good effect on the treatment of chronic leg ulcer without obvious adverse reactions.
