Abstract :Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of red-blue light irradiation and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of moderate to severe acne vulgaris. Methods: A total of 65 patients with moderate to severe acne vulgaris were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with red-blue light irradiation, and the control group was treated with red-blue light irradiation only. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks. The efficacy was scored after treatment, and the effective rate of the two groups was compared. Results: The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with an effective rate of 85.7%, while the effective rate of the control group was 63.3%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Red-blue light irradiation combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) has a rapid onset, good efficacy and good safety in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
