Abstract :Objective:To observe the effect of recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) on wound healing in patients with deep second-degree burns.Methods:76 patients with deep second-degree burns were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group. The patients were treated with rh EGF combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) and rh EGF alone, and the therapeutic effects were compared. Results:The wound healing time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the wound infection rate was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the adverse reactions of the two groups were relatively small. Conclusion:The combined application of recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of deep second-degree burns can effectively prevent infection and promote wound healing, with a low incidence of scars, relatively low price, simple method of use, and is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
