Abstract : Objective To study the effect of hydrocolloid dressing combined with polymyxin B in promoting wound healing of chronic ulcers of lower limbs. Methods 138 patients with chronic ulcers of lower limbs admitted from March 2014 to October 2015 were treated with polymyxin B combined with hydrocolloid dressings for dressing changes. The growth and speed of wound granulations, as well as adverse drug reactions, were observed and recorded. Results: Observation on the dressing change process of 138 patients with chronic ulcers of lower limbs using hydrocolloid dressing combined with polymyxin B. 78 patients were cured, 38 cases were treated significantly, 15 cases were treated effectively, and 7 cases were treated effectively. Conclusion The use of hydrocolloid dressing combined with polymyxin B during dressing change of chronic lower limb ulcers can effectively promote the regeneration of wound granulation tissue and epithelium, promote wound healing, reduce pain during dressing change, and has no adverse reactions .
